| Wednesday, the 9th, Open Stage host at Kaffé 1870 in Wakefield, corner of River Road and Valley Drive | Things get under way |
| St. Patrick's Day, the 17th, starting early afternoon and running on through into the evening. | At the Kaffe 1870, Wakefield. |
| Saturday, the 1st at the Wakefield Mill. Singing solo from 6 pm until 9 pm. |
Mostly songs drawn from the lounge repetoire, though I do jazz them up a bit, arrange the guitar part, and I'll include my own songs as a quarter of the show. Several songs in French aussi. |
Saturday, the 7th at the Wakefield Mill -again. Singing solo from 6 pm until 9 pm. |
As above, and if you missed it on the 1st, a second chance, a rare thing in life. I try not to repeat too many songs if I reappear at the Mill within a week or so. Hope your summer is going well. |
| Saturday, the 15th, from 4pm to 8 pm at McVey's Irish pub, on the Lac Ste. Marie road, number 306. | Singing out on the patio, and, given the name of the place, I'll be throwing in some Blarney tunes, and some Beatles 'cause the were Irish descent too. It's also the day of my 62nd birthday. |
| Sunday the 16th, Bloomsday at St. Brigid's Centre for the Arts, 310 St. Patrick Street. Singing before and during the show. Check saintbrigidscentre.com for times. | Bloomsday
is a big day with the literary Irish; it's the day upon which
James Joyce's Ulysses is set. There will be readings from the
book, and I'll be doing transitional snippets from the tunes in the
book. |
| Wednesday, the 19th, hosting the Open Stage at the Kaffé 1870 juke joint in Wakefield. |
A chance to hear or play some of the best music in the Gatineau's, originals and covers, solos and bands of gypsies. |
